NK’MIP CELLARS - Restaurant Server

LOCATION: Osoyoos, BC
STATUS: Seasonal Hourly Contract (Apr – Oct)

COMPENSATION: $18 -$20/hr + gratuities

Opportunity:

As a Restaurant Server at Nk’Mip Cellars, you play a pivotal role in creating memorable guest experiences. From warmly welcoming visitors to facilitating educational and enjoyable dining experiences, you contribute to a positive atmosphere and drive wine sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and make guests feel welcome throughout their visit.
  • Embrace a service approach that is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and prompt, encouraging individual personalities.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets.
  • Perform daily opening, closing, and cleaning duties to maintain a prepared team and a clean restaurant for positive guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 19 and possession of a Serving It Right certificate.
  • Team player willing to assist in all areas of business as needed (Tastings, Retail Sales, Patio).
  • Passion for people, wine, food, and the hospitality industry.
  • Detail-oriented, multitasking ability, and a strong work ethic required – both individually and as part of a team.
  • Courteous, friendly, positive attitude.
  • Must enjoy the outdoor restaurant setting, incredible views, fresh air, warm weather, and the occasional breeze.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for team members and guests.
