Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call.

We are currently looking for a permanent positionto manage the Restaurant.

The main duties are:

  • Act on behalf of the owner/director in operating the restaurant when he is not on site.
  • Plan, organize and evaluate daily operations, including front of house, back of house and food processing team.
  • Recruit, train and supervise restaurant staff, including food processing workers
  • Monitor staff performance for evaluation,
  • Set staff, including food processing workers, work schedules,
  • Plan, order and manage inventory and supplies, including for food processing,
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including the restaurant and food processing
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies,
  • Assist the owner/director in marketing plans and implementation,
  • Resolve customers' complaints or concerns,
  • Prepare production reports,
  • Manage events and catering services

Working schedule: Morning, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours.

Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience: 1-2 years in the same position and at least 3 years in the professional setting

Wage: $37-$39/ hour and 40 hours/week
