Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat customers.
  • Ensure guest recognition by remembering names, faces, and information that makes each guest feel unique.
  • Receive cash from customers in payment for meals. Operate cash register.
  • Make change and issue receipts or tickets to customers.
  • Read and record totals shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand.
  • Relay all customer complaints to the appropriate team member, no matter how small.
  • Serve ice water and bread/butter if a server is unavailable.
  • Maintain eye contact with guests at all times.
Qualifications
  • Education And / or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic addition, subtraction, and monetary calculations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense and handle problems in standardized situations.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Demands
