A community support organization in Vancouver is seeking a Residential Care Worker (RCW) to assist residents with developmental disabilities. The RCW will focus on enhancing the physical, emotional, and social needs of clients. Applicants should have a relevant degree or diploma and 1-2 years of experience in the field. The position offers competitive pay of $28.25/hour and includes various employer-paid benefits. This role is a part-time opportunity requiring a commitment to community support.

Schedule/Hours:Mon 08:00-15:00, Fri 08:00-14:30, Sat 16:30-20:30, Sun 08:30-16:00 // 25 hours per week
Hourly Wage: $28.25 as per collective agreement
Residential Care Worker (RCW) assists residents to live successfully in residential settings within the community. The position ensures the residents’ physical, emotional, social, recreational, economic, educational, and/or medical needs are met. The RCW assists residents by enhancing their quality of life through activities of daily living. The RCW works both independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates the ability to take initiative and effectively problem solve using sound judgment.
