Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Research PoC (Proof of Concepts) Developer include ideation, algorithm design, algorithm evaluation, PoC development (at a demonstrable level) and research paper / patent submission. While not all these tasks are required, the role involves close collaboration with our Researchers and, depending on the project, with the Engineering team. This position reports to the Director of Research.

What you will do

• Designing and implementing algorithms to solve industry problems or to enhance user experience and provide benefits.


• Implement software Proof of Concepts (PoC) at a demonstrable level.


• Evaluate the final product to make sure it matches original research PoC.


• Research the state of the art to scope and define innovative projects.


• Closely work with internal technical sales team to understand industry problems.


• Write technical and scientific papers and patent.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related fields

Experience of image processing or computer vision project

Ability to research and develop image processing algorithms in C / C++, Matlab or Python (build Proof of Concept from scratch)

Understand and build the image processing algorithms by reading scientific papers.

Comfortable working on open-ended problems that require sustained effort to scope, define and solve.

Working directly with engineering team to deliver PoC into products in a timely and efficient manner.
