What You'll Do

You're analytical, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a high-volume work environment. You have the technical skills and business acumen to formulate actionable insights for business stakeholders and to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to enable data-driven decision making. You're a self-starter, seek out opportunities and have a genuine curiosity that grows your understanding of projects. You have an eye for efficiency and will play an integral role in:

  • Partnering with technical and business teams to identify the correct ad versioning, space requirements and placement of media products
  • Managing the flyer space in Canadian Tire's in-house proprietary systems and creating reporting on flyer space on a regular cadence
  • Managing and reporting on flyer space allocations of different businesses
  • Analyzing and improving existing processes and reporting, automating and streamlining workflows where possible
  • Serving as the key point person to manage any changes during in-season management of promotions
  • Building advanced dashboards and visual that turn data into compelling narratives
  • Translating business questions into technical data needs, ensuring alignment with request goals
  • Diagnosing and enhancing data quality across diverse sources
  • Taking a collaborative approach to build strong relationships and have positive team experiences
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis requested from different stakeholders
What You Bring
  • B.A. in Marketing or Business preferred
  • 2+ years of experience (preferably retail experience) in an analytical role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and marketing data to develop into a media plan
  • Technical and business acumen
  • Quick learner, multi-tasker that can learn our proprietary systems
  • Excellent communicatorStrong foundation in SQL for complex data analysis

Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $88,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
