HOURS OF WORK

The stated hours of work are approximate as schedules are subject to change with the operational needs of the Health Centre. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.

Type of Shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends & Holidays, on call

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The RPN Scrub Technician is responsible for efficiently setting up for each procedure and assisting the surgical team during the operative procedure.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Recent post-grad OR course.
  • Current OR experience (within 1 year).
  • Current BCLS.
  • A-O course would be an asset.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Demonstrated technical ability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OR procedures and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Demonstrated interest in continuing education.
