A healthcare institution is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interprofessional team. The ideal candidate should possess a current nursing certification, effective communication skills, and a commitment to professional development. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and advocating for patients. This position is located in Vaughan, Canada.
As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you’ll use a patient- and family-centred approach in providing holistic, high-quality and safe care to patients within the scope of practice identified by the College of Nurses of Ontario, evidence-based nursing practices and the standards set by Mackenzie Health. Working collaboratively as a member of the interprofessional care team, you’ll contribute to creating a world-class health experience for patients and their families with every interaction, by demonstrating professionalism, exemplifying our Commitment to Caring, and upholding our values of excellence, leadership and empathy.
