You’ll work alongside a Certified Menopause Educator to provide comprehensive care to women during menopause. Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) to join our Menopause Clinic in a primary care setting. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a Certified Menopause Educator and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. You will support women through their menopause journey, working to full nursing scope and applying your clinical expertise in a supportive, dynamic environment.

This position offers a flexible schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday (12:00–8:15 pm), Wednesday
  • Tuesday (12:00–8:15 pm), Wednesday, Friday
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assessment: Evaluate patient conditions, needs, and goals in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Care Planning: Identify needs, set priorities, and provide short-term interventions.
  • Referrals and Education: Facilitate community resource referrals and provide patient education for managing clinical conditions.
  • Evaluation and Development: Participate in evaluating clinic services, developing policies, and monitoring service quality.
  • Program Development: Assist in establishing health promotion and self-management programs tailored to the population.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required for the success of the PCN.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Five or more years of related nursing experience.
  • Current CRNA Registration, CPR, and BCLS certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in a team and in managing patients with complex needs.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, medication reviews, and protocol development.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
