Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure the quality functionality and performance of our software applications. The QA Analyst will be responsible for reviewing requirements designing test cases executing manual and automated tests and ensuring defects are properly identified documented and resolved. This role requires excellent attention to detail strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers product managers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and UAT) to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to implement and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts to validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and test strategy discussions.
  • Ensure that applications meet usability, reliability, performance, and security standards.
  • Provide detailed QA reports and test results to stakeholders.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a QA Analyst, Tester, or in a related QA role.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and defect life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g. TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM).
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification.
  • Exposure to API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
