Job summary

A leading Prosthetics and Orthotics provider in Terranova y Labrador seeks a Prosthetic/Orthotic Technician IVC for a permanent full-time position. The role involves skilled technical work under a certified Orthotist, including fabricating orthoses and assistive devices. Candidates must have formal training and relevant experience. This position promotes independence and quality of life for clients with disabilities. Competitive salary offered, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Completion of training from a recognized Prosthetics and Orthotics Technical College Program required.
• Registered status with Orthotics Prosthetics Canada is necessary.
• Minimum of two years within the last four in a relevant facility required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate orthoses and assistive devices under the direction of a certified Orthotist.
• Work with students or volunteers on fabrication machinery.
• Lift and assemble components using gross and fine motor skills.
