The role we are offering you:
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
  • Lead project execution across all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Evaluates project risks, manages project issues, develops mitigation plans, and identifies and maximises return from opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with CAE’s policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Resolves project work/scheduling problems by reprioritising activities.
  • Reviews project performance against milestones and budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
  • Present project status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively to senior leadership
  • Facilitate collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution across diverse teams.
Our ideal candidate has:
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience managing increasingly complex projects, including at least 2 years in a project management role.
  • PMI certification (e.g., PMP) is a strong asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Ability to collaborate across various organizational levels and support leadership teams.
  • A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
  • Autonomy in task execution and decision-making within established frameworks.
  • Flexibility and agility in managing priorities, adapting to evolving needs and project urgency.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
  • Availability to travel occasionally to various CAE sites.
