You will work on high-profile, institutional quality developments in some of the most unique and challenging environments in the country. From managing the front-end design process with our client and architects, to negotiating GC contracts and overseeing construction, you will ensure every detail aligns with our vision for excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Take full ownership of projects from early design through delivery: scope, schedule, cost, and quality. Manage the programming process with institutional clients.
  • Assemble your team of consultants, contractors, and coordinate with other stakeholders to bring amazing projects to life.
  • Bring your design talents to bear, ensuring projects reflect Nunastar’s brand and standards, while meeting our tenants’ needs.
  • Lead contract GC negotiations, and manage the relationship from start to finish.
  • Use your amazing ability to focus and your attention to detail to ensure the outcomes achieve our vision for the project.
  • Process progress claims, change orders, and ensure timely reporting and documentation.
  • Travel to the Northwest Territories and Nunavut for site reviews, contractor meetings, and milestone inspections.

What You Bring:

  • 7–10+ years in prime consultant experience/architectural design project management. Should have education/institutional experience.
  • Strong contract administration and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with front-end design coordination and finish specifications.
  • Relevant credentials, certifications, or experience in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
  • Northern project experience is an asset.

We Offer:
