This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction company specializing in renewable energy projects across Canada. The company is actively shaping the future of clean energy and is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end project execution.

The role requires bilingualism (French & English) and is open to candidates from various provinces, with travel to project sites required.

About the Role

As Project Manager - Construction, you will be the on-site leader overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, cost control, subcontractor coordination, quality, client relations, and health & safety. You will represent the company on site and ensure project success through clear communication, strategic planning, and strong team collaboration.

Reporting to the Project Director, this role offers a unique opportunity to manage large-scale construction projects that contribute directly to Canada's renewable energy goals.

What You'll Do

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead all construction project phases from pre-construction to client handover.
  • Plan tasks, organize the master schedule, and oversee cost control and contract execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Health & Safety, Quality, Procurement, and Engineering teams.
  • Represent the company on-site and ensure excellent stakeholder communication.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations with site managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Organize and lead internal and external project meetings.
  • Monitor compliance, ensure adherence to standards, and stop non-compliant activities if necessary.

Project Monitoring & Delivery

  • Conduct technical and administrative follow-ups on costs, productivity, contracts, and change orders.
  • Manage payments and financial follow-ups with suppliers, subcontractors, and finance departments.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations.
  • Report key performance indicators to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering.
  • Member of a Professional Engineer Association.
  • 10+ years of experience in similar project management roles.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English (French strongly preferred).
