Job description

We are actively searching for a Project Manager to complement our skills and to take on challenging and exciting projects. The Project Manager must have the ability to effectively collaborate with client, architects, interior designers, engineers, subcontractors and other employees. The successful candidate will be extremely detail oriented and self-motivated. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of Construction Management and General Contracting for commercial and institutional interiors and new construction projects
  • Collaborate with subtrades, clients, architects and other members of a project team
  • Development of client proposals and project cost estimates
  • Prepare and manage bid documents and contract administration
  • Procurement and schedule management
  • Negotiation, costing, budget management, risk management and quality control
  • Implementation of B&V Health and Safety Policies
  • Continually foresee potential issues or conflicts and propose solutions for evasive actions
  • Figure out details and best construction methods to achieve the designer’s goals
  • Track project budgets, documents and progress in Viewpoint Construction Management Software
  • Review of shop drawings and submittals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of local building practices, subtrades, and suppliers
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Energetic, positive, and can-do attitude required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits when required

Nice to Have:

  • Architectural background
  • Computer proficiency
  • Exceptional knowledge of Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, CAD
