Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Project Manager. In this role, you will apply your leadership and technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Design, Application development/maintenance and Testing. You will play an important role in associating with the key stakeholders of the project, understanding the client requirements, prepare a detailed design document, deliver high quality code for a module, validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, warranty and Project Management.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver, British Columbia or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile, Java, cloud technologies.
• At least 7 years of experience in Agile methodology.
• Experience in handling Project Management Activities with Client.
• Experience in interacting with interfacing downstream/upstream teams for Web Application, Understand Swaggers.
• Hands-on experience of Code Quality and Code Security using SonarQube.
• Experience in handling teams at Onshore, Offshore and Client stakeholders.
• Experience in interacting with Business Stakeholders to convert requirements in Jira Stories.
• Experience in conducting Agile ceremonies like Refinements, Sprint Planning, guide team on estimations etc.
• PMP or CSM / SAFe certifications
• Strong ability to perform root cause analysis and impact analysis as required.
• Good Business Analysis, Problem-Solving Skills and Critical Thinking skill sets.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 98,486 to $134,404
