QinetiQ Target Systems Canada (QTSC) is hiring a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects from our Medicine Hat location. QTSC specializes in the design, manufacture, and operation of advanced uncrewed surface and air target systems. As part of QinetiQ Group, you’ll contribute to solutions that protect lives and enable missions around the world.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of high-impact projects.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor performance using KPIs and proactively manage risks.
• Contribute to bids and proposals with robust project plans and schedules.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and defense security standards.

🎓 What You Bring

• A degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in defense, aerospace, or regulated industries.
• Expertise in project governance, risk management, and cost/schedule control.
• Effective communication skills and confidence reporting to senior stakeholders.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification preferred—but we value hands‑on experience just as much.
• Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Certification and security clearance.
• Local presence in Medicine Hat with the ability to work on‑site 4–5 days/week.
• Preferred: experience in defense, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries.
