Ability to read blueprints and understand elevations

Education

Construction Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technician certificate or Degree

Overview

Pay: $55,000-60,000 annually. Benefits after 3 months. Company matching RRSP after one year of employment.

Location: In-Office, 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon, ON.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Project Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the successful planning and execution of projects.
  • Assist in all phases of the construction project, including; coordinating workers, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, work is proceeding on schedule and within budget, and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the job.
  • Assist in hiring of sub trades, purchasing of materials, complete the daily and weekly project schedule, etc.
  • Maintain and manage all administrative documentation generated on projects.
  • Attend various site meetings with clients, architects, engineers, etc. as may be required, and maintain an excellent working relationship with them.
  • Review the project costs vs. planned cost and report to the Project Manager.
Qualifications
