Overview

Project Coordinator - Telecom — Location: Calgary, AB (with travel to project sites as needed).

Responsibilities
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety programs and regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation and systems, ensuring accuracy and easy access to critical information.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and schedules to keep deliverables on target.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and test plans.
  • Support site mobilization, including permits, equipment, and resources.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Respond to project inquiries and escalations in a timely, professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, procurement) to gather and clarify requirements.
Must-Have
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
  • Telecom, fibre optic, or underground utility construction experience.
  • Knowledge of permitting, construction administration, or contract terms.
  • Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Work Conditions
  • Primarily office-based in Calgary, with regular travel to project sites.
