A major transit agency is seeking a Senior Estimator/Project Manager to join their Variations & Change Team in Toronto. The role involves managing change requests, overseeing estimations, and analyzing project impacts across departments. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, alongside 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. The agency offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace.
Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking design, build, and finance for the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package. As Ontario Transit Group, we are mobilizing design and construction crews for major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030. The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.
Senior Estimator/Project Manager (Variation & Change Team)

The team interfaces closely with all the project departments — technical, scheduling, procurement, construction, legal and finance — in order to deliver comprehensive cost and impact assessments, in a timely manner.
Variations are negotiated to either confirmation or rejection, and if confirmed, passed to operations for implementation. The Variation Team includes coordinators, engineers and schedulers, under the supervision of the Variation Manager. It is supported by different legal & claim consultants as needed.
