About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Program Assistant to join our dynamic Enterprise Facilities team. In this role, you will provide both system administrative and customer service support, focusing on one or more specialized areas. Responsibilities include supporting internal technology systems, managing user access and data entry, maintaining infrastructure support for knowledge management tools, and ensuring project documentation is organized and up to date. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and collaborative support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide system administrative and customer service support to the Enterprise Facilities department and its stakeholders.
  • Support projects by creating reports, presentations, and meeting documentation; respond to inquiries per established scripts, procedures and processes.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of documentation, data, forms, policies, and manuals.
  • Maintain documents and data in a controlled manner using knowledge management principles.
Qualifications and skills
  • Post-secondary administrative training from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience with good record-keeping practices.
  • Experience/exposure in a GMP environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a national virtual team; capable of working independently with minimal supervision; strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Teams, SharePoint, SAP, Documentum, and Forms is preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and oral English communication.
