In your role, you will:

  • Be responsible for obtaining the interior certification of the aircraft
  • Be responsible for the analysis of the interior of the cabin of each aircraft: systems in operation and regulations applicable to the safety of the occupants
  • Keep the delegates of the authorities informed of any configuration changes
  • Work closely with other teams within the engineering group
  • Provide leadership and guidance on occupant safety certification requirements and interpretations
  • Participate to investigations on technical and regulatory issues and provide associated documents
  • Liaise between production, engineering, occupant safety group (Airworthiness) and delegates of the authorities
  • Troubleshoot or address inquiries for customer requests or new options
  • Active participation in the daily meetings and follow the progress of the aircraft
  • Solve technical/compliance issues
  • Keep certification schedules up to date with the production schedule
  • Create, harmonize and track compliance to various schedules required to manage the approval of the interior STC
  • Focal for any conformity/compliance snag impacting the configuration, occupant safety or STC documentation

  • An Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent working experience, with minimum of ten (10) years pertinent experience in aerospace.
  • You are familiar with the Certification process for the Aircraft interiors
  • You are familiar with Program/Project Management processes
  • You have professional attitude and good communication skills
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills. You pay attention to details.
  • You are pro‑active attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • You can work autonomously in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • You have effective problem‑solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets
  • You are bilingual (French and English)
  • You have knowledge of different authorities and their regulations
