Overview

Job Title: Production Filter Operator

Job Type: Temporary ongoing (strong opportunity to go permanent)

Location: Scarborough, Ontario ( Morningside & Lawrence )

Shift/Hours: 2-week rotational shifts - first 4-6 weeks will be day shift (7am-3pm), then switch to afternoon (3pm-11pm), and night shifts (11pm-7am). Must be available for all shifts.

Pay Rate: $2 1.24/ hr

Our client in Scarborough is looking for a reliable and motivated Production Filter Operator to support their team. If you\'re a hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • P repare hoses and transfer finished products from reactor to hold tank and from hold tank to storage tank
  • O btain empty containers and prepare for filling
  • P repare disposable totes for filling when needed
  • F ilter finished product into containers
  • W eigh and label containers once filled
  • P lace filled and labeled containers in staging area
  • F ilter finished product into tank wagons
  • T ransfer caustic wash from tanks to reactors and back again
  • C lean and maintain department
  • R eport any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to foreman
  • Operate counterbalance forklift when required.
  • Other tasks as assigned
