Production Director - Food Manufacturing - Ville Saint-Laurent

I am currently seeking a Production Director for a food manufacturing company located in Ville Saint-Laurent. This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced professional eager to drive operational excellence and team development in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role
  • Oversee and optimize all production operations in collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D;
  • Foster a strong culture of health & safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement;
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP, ECO CERT, KOSHER) and support audits and certifications;
  • Define and monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions, and optimize production costs;
  • Lead, coach, and empower a team of supervisors to achieve results;
  • Deploy operational excellence strategies (LEAN, Six Sigma) to boost efficiency and reduce costs;
  • Contribute to the company's strategic planning and support organizational transformations (technological, cultural, process improvements).
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent;
  • 10+ years of production management experience, including at least 3 years in the food industry;
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards;
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement and project management (Lean Six Sigma, Scrum);
  • Strategic vision, inspiring leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Flexibility to work across shifts and support change management.
