This is a temporary one-year position at our head office in the heart of downtown Quebec City.

Product Development and Production Coordinator Position Summary At Simons, creativity, service, and excellence guide our mission. As a Product Development and Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all stages in the development and production of exclusive collections. You will play a key role in coordinating internal and external stakeholders, from initial concept to final delivery, to ensure quality, timelines, and cost competitiveness. Your diligence and ability to collaborate effectively will be essential to project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate product development and production with internal teams (design, buying, raw materials) and external suppliers.
  • Assign development mandates to appropriate suppliers based on capacity, sourcing strategy, and quality/cost/timeline objectives.
  • Track development and production timelines, identify risks, and facilitate proactive issue resolution.
  • Support cost and lead time negotiations to achieve margin and resource optimization targets.
  • Manage raw material reservations and maintain rigorous tracking of stock and supplier commitments.
  • Support supplier performance evaluation and contribute to building strategic partnerships.
  • Participate in process improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.

Desired Profile

  • University degree in fashion, supply chain, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written to communicate with all stakeholders.
