Process Control and Machine Operators, Food and Beverage Processing (NOC 94140)
Responsibilities
  • Following the instructions, prepare various food items for customers.
  • All food items should be properly packaged for delivery.
  • Before and after each use, clean and disinfect all food preparation tools, instruments, and equipment.
  • Assuring the cleanliness of all food surfaces, as well as refrigerators, ovens, freezers, and microwaves.
  • Notify the supervisor as soon as possible of any incidents or suspicions of food contamination.
  • To avoid accidents, cleanup all spills and leaks as they occur.
  • To avoid food spoilage, use proper food storage procedures.
  • Monitoring food supplies and informing the supervisor of low stock levels to ensure that the food preparation process is not disrupted or delayed due to a lack of ingredients.
  • Creating food rotation labels and labeling all food items.
  • Assist with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Use tools to help with the manufacturing process.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure that the equipment is in good working order.
  • Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
