Privileged Access Management Consultant, CyberArk

About the Role

The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Consultant plays a key role in the installation, configuration, and customization of Privileged Access Management software to deliver a solution that will meet the customer\'s business requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across multiple CyberArk solutions, including Core PAS, Privilege Cloud, EPM, Secrets Manager, CyberArk Identity, and Identity Flows. This role requires hands-on experience in privileged access management, automation, scripting, cloud platforms, and systems integration. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to share their Privileged Access Management expertise with the customer, acting as a trusted advisor for PAM-related topics.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, deploy, and manage CyberArk solutions: Core PAS, Privilege Cloud, Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM), Secrets Management (Conjur), and CyberArk Identity
  • Design and implement CyberArk Identity Flows for automating identity lifecycle events and cross-platform orchestration
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and PowerShell for account onboarding, health checks, reporting, and integrations
  • Write custom SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Integrate CyberArk with external systems, including ticketing, CI / CD pipelines, cloud IAM, and SIEM tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex PAM issues involving AD, networking, endpoint agents, and cloud-native services
  • Collaborate with security operations, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
  • Perform regular platform upgrades, patching, backup / restore validation, DR testing, and migrations from self-hosted to Privilege Cloud and other vendors to CyberArk
  • Document technical designs, operational procedures, and support guides
  • Keep updated and current with best practices and trends in privileged account security
  • Assist in establishing new standard approaches and practices for deploying PAM solutions and securing privileged accounts
  • Work with Cyderes Group clients to develop and maintain positive and productive customer relationships
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years direct experience in working on CyberArk implementation projects
  • CDE-PAM and CDE-CPC certifications
  • Systems integration and application development experience
  • Proficiency with Python and Powershell scripting
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience with the following web technologies: XML, SPML, Web Services (SOAP / REST), web and application servers
  • Experience installing software on Windows and UNIX / Linux platforms
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience with directories (LDAP, AD)
  • Familiarity with identity management solutions
  • Occasional business travel for internal team or client meetings
