Job Location

Be the technical leader responsible for providing expert guidance, overseeing complex mechanical engineering projects, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest level of engineering excellence within the field.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design
  • Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
  • Coordinate designs and drafts people
  • Review progress and schedule
  • Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements
Education and Experience
  • Industry related higher education degree
  • Significant (> 15 years) minerals process plant design experience
  • Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
  • Engineering delivery experience
  • Work in team environment. Allocate work to others and monitor the progress thereof
Skills and Experience
  • High level communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
  • Ability to produce study estimates
  • Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
  • Mentoring and developing other mechanical engineers
  • Knowledge of databases and version control
  • Extensive industry contacts and ability to win confidence of Clients through business development
  • Willingness to travel if required
