This role involves developing engineering deliverables, ensuring project quality, and managing project teams. The ideal candidate will have an industry-related higher education degree and extensive experience (minimum 25 years) in mineral process plant design. Strong communication skills and proficiency in project management are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Industry related higher education degree required.
• Minimum of 25 years experience in minerals process plant design is needed.
• Ability to work in a team environment and allocate work to others.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design.
• Provide project review of electrical deliverables.
• Coordinate designs and drafts people.
• Review progress and schedule.
• Create and monitor work practices relating to Electrical / Instrument Engineering methods.
• Review and create standards for business.
• Adhere to all policies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements.

Skills

High level communication skills – written and verbal

Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment

Ability to produce study estimates

Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management

Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up

Knowledge of databases and version control
