Temporary Full Time

This is a student position that is 4 months in duration for the term May - August. You must be a student registered in a Canadian College or University.

This position is for students returning to school after their work term or requiring a placement as requirements for graduation. While not required, preference will be given to students enrolled in a registered Co‑op program.

Portfolio Support Student

In this role, you will gain experience supporting portfolio level governance, analysis, documentation, and planning activities that help guide the effective delivery of technology solutions.

Our professionals contribute directly to company goals through value‑added services such as technology strategy, project management, analysis, system architecture, software development, and operational support. As a student, you’ll gain exposure to how these functions work together across the portfolio.

What You’ll Do
  • Support portfolio maintenance, analysis, and review activities
  • Enhance and create documentation for portfolio governance, planning, and reporting
  • Participate in portfolio planning sessions and contribute to discussions
  • Develop portfolio level documentation and materials used by multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Analyze portfolio metrics to help inform decision‑making and identify trends
What You Bring
  • Currently in your second year or higher, pursuing a post‑secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as Commerce, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering or another discipline that supports technology, analytics, or project management work
  • Understanding of general IT project methodologies, processes, and practices
  • Experience with or interest in project management is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective internal consulting skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
  • Adaptability in a changing environment and comfort working under pressure
  • Strong planning, organization, and time‑management skills

The base salary for this position is between $45,600 - $68,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.

For our student opportunities, the base salary will be dependent on the number of work terms you have completed along with other factors depending on your program.
