A critical care air service provider located in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Pool Pilot. This full-time position requires extensive helicopter experience, flexibility for scheduling, and successful completion of safety assessments. The pilots play a key role in providing urgent medical care. Candidates must possess a valid Commercial Rotary Wing Licence and be prepared for day and night shifts. We are currently looking for a Pool Pilot at any one of our 6 bases in the Aviation department. This position requires that you must be flexible with scheduling and may require travel to any STARS base within less than 24 hours’ notice to act as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC). You are expected to be employable at any STARS base for up to 14 days but may be subject to an extension of 42 days at a time due to unforeseen operational requirements.

This position has been identified as safety sensitive. Employment of the preferred candidate will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test, Physical Fitness to Work assessment, Audiometric testing, as well as providing proof of immunizations.
