Overview

Your Opportunity: The Lacombe Hospital facility supports acute care beds primarily focused rural general medicine as well as supporting 72 continuing care beds. The Lacombe Pharmacy team provides distribution and clinical services to Acute, Continuing Care and Emergency patients at the site. Pharmacists also provide remote support coverage to other rural sites in Central Zone. The Lacombe Hospital Pharmacy supports 34 acute care beds primarily focused rural general medicine as well as supporting 72 continuing care beds. The Lacombe Pharmacy team provides distribution and clinical services to Acute, Continuing Care and Emergency patients at the site. Lacombe Hospital provides a supportive, multidisciplinary environment for pharmacists, where they provide specialized and general medicine care to patients. The Pharmacy department is supported by a team of Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants working towards their full scope of practice to allow the pharmacists to focus on clinical activities working to their full scope of practice.
