Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin have partnered with our client to source for multiple Licensed Pharmacists across Canada, with an urgent need in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and rural communities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of pharmacy-based health clinics
  • Conduct patient assessments, including prescribing new medications or extending existing therapies (in accordance with provincial regulations)
  • Provide travel health consultations and immunizations
  • Deliver chronic disease management services and follow-up care
  • Perform annual patient medication reviews and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Ensure clinic processes, documentation, and services meet all regulatory and professional standards
  • Administer medications by injection and provide point-of-care testing and swabs
  • Order, interpret, and act on lab results when permitted under provincial scope of practice
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care for patients
  • Counsel patients on prescription use, medication adherence, and wellness strategies
  • Support daily pharmacy workflow and dispensary operations as required
  • Assist in the development and delivery of innovative clinical programs and patient-care services
  • Stay current with professional standards, regulations, and emerging trends related to pharmacist expanded scope of practice
  • Perform additional duties as required to support overall pharmacy operations and patient care

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Canada(active registration with a provincial College of Pharmacists), Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Must be Injection Certified and have prescribing signing authority
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a patient-first approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to both fast-paced and rural community environments
  • Willingness to travel or relocate to high-demand areas is an asset
