Job summary

A leading pest control service provider in Mississauga is seeking a dedicated technician to inspect and treat pest infestations. You will travel to various locations using a vehicle supplied by the employer. Qualified candidates will have a secondary education, relevant experience, and training in fall protection. A competitive salary of $20.00 to $23.00 per hour is offered. This is a full-time position with various benefits including group insurance and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in pest control or relevant field.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle supplied by employer.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course required.

  • Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation.
  • Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation.
  • Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas.

Responsibilities
Tasks
  • Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation
  • Provide estimate of costs
  • Determine type of treatment required
  • Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas
  • Fumigate households
  • Place and set traps to capture and remove animals
  • Install animal control barriers to keep animals off property
  • Clean out areas that harbour pests
  • Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation
