Description

An independent, busy and reputable brokerage is looking to add a well-rounded Broker to their team located in Downtown Vancouver! They are looking for an enthusiastic and confident personal lines broker, to service their clients. This will be a very holistic position, as this person will also be the primary person for ICBC/Autoplan.

This would be best suited for someone who thrives on giving great customer service to long standing clientele and a team player who rolls up their sleeves.

Responsibilities:

  • ICBC Inventory control, batching and reconciliations
  • Managing personal lines book which also includes some VIP/high net worth clients
  • Invoicing renewals, new business and generating letters
  • There will be autoplan and fleet accounts to service
  • Knowledge of travel insurance and selling travel products to clientele
  • Retention of personal lines book and providing a high level of service
  • Generating quotes, using broker portals and cross-sell/up-sell all lines of insurance
  • Post-sales customer service: re-market accounts, process renewals, endorsements
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Maintain accurate up to date files
  • First to telephone. Answer/direct incoming calls in a timely manner


Qualifications:

  • Level 2 licence
  • 3+ years’ industry experience: Auto/Personal Lines capacity
  • General knowledge and use of Epic
  • Strong and clear written and oral communication - ability to deliver technical information
  • Confident and comfort dealing with affluent individuals.
  • Exposure to Chubb business is not mandatory but highly regarded
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Team player - willing to step in and roll up your sleeves to assist as needed
  • Keen to learn
