What We’re Looking For

No prior experience necessary to join our team. We offer complete training once you’ve obtained your Level 1 General Insurance license.

As a Personal Insurance Trainee, you will advise new and existing clients in the branch on how to best protect their assets when it comes to personal insurance. You will build relationships and offer solutions using a diverse selection of insurance products while achieving performance targets. You will have continuous learning and development opportunities to maintain licensing requirements and work towards your career goals.

Requirements
  • Level 1 General Insurance License
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Previous insurance experience preferred
A Day in the Life
  • Assist clients with home, condo, tenant, and other personal insurance needs
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Provide creative, well-informed coverage solutions
  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and payments
  • Cross-sell and upsell relevant HUB products
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and managing paperwork
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations and coverage offerings

The expected salary range for this po s ition is $ 47 ,000 to $ 55 ,000 and will be impa cted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid‑time‑off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
