A government agency is seeking a Permit Administration Technician in Fort St. John. This role involves reviewing applications, maintaining data integrity, and drafting agreements related to Land Act tenures. The position offers a salary range of $64,367.58 to $72,917.30 and includes additional allowances for northern locations. Interested applicants should submit their applications by October 09, 2025.
The Permit Administration Technician (PAT) reviews and makes determinations in the administration of a portfolio of Land Act tenures and Forestry Licenses by drafting and implementing new and amended contractual and administrative agreements, conducting detailed analysis, interpreting Acts, Statutes and Regulations, and determining fees. The PAT reviews and approves applications related to transfers, amalgamations and name changes, including issuing permits under the Energy Resource Activities Act (ERAA). The PAT maintains data integrity including spatial and non-spatial data capture, entering/editing and updating all Crown land approvals into databases and records utilized by the BCER, the public and other Government agencies.

Location: Fort St John
Salary: $64,367.58 - $72,917.30 – Permanent Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.
An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.
An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.
