The Role

We are seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to support people strategy and organizational effectiveness across our assigned region. You will work with business leaders to align talent, culture, and organizational capabilities with strategic business objectives while ensuring compliance with local employment standards. As part of our Global People and Culture team, you will help establish a strong regional operation, support talent and culture initiatives, and contribute to operational success across local, regional, and global levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with business leaders on organizational strategy, talent strategy, and succession planning
  • Support culture and engagement initiatives; assist with organizational change efforts
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to develop leadership capabilities
  • Support the design and execution of engagement and retention and onboarding programs
  • Support performance management systems and coach leaders on performance conversations
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance on complex people matters
  • Execute learning and development initiatives and training facilitation
  • Collaborate with Talent Management and Total Rewards teams on integrated talent programs
  • Ensure new hires feel welcomed, equipped, and aligned with company culture via pre‑onboarding support, orientation, benefits enrollment, and compliance training administration
  • Conduct exit interviews as part of the offboarding administration process to ensure smooth and respectful transitions
  • Track metrics, provide insights, and measure program effectiveness
  • Manage projects, budgets, timelines, and ensure compliance with local employment law
  • Support investigations and manage employee relations escalations
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong business acumen with data‑driven mindset
  • Working knowledge of local, regional employment legislation
  • Solid change management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Understanding of organizational design and workforce management
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee enablement capabilities
  • Ability to build credibility with leaders at all levels

Work Experience, Education and Certifications
  • 5-7 years of People and Culture management; 4+ years in HRBP or similar partnership role
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Broad expertise across talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, learning & development, and organizational design
  • Experience managing employee relations matters
  • Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Work Conditions
  • Extended hours may be required to accommodate different time zones

  • Limited travel, but when required may be international

Pay Range

$75,800 CAD to $95,000 CAD

AppLogic Networks provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.

As part of the total compensation at AppLogic Networks, the role may be eligible for additional benefits including annual profit sharing, commissions for sales roles, and comprehensive benefits package as applicable.
