A Canadian-based gold producer is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll processes and lead a team. Responsibilities include managing the hourly and salaried Ontario payrolls, preparing month-end journal entries, and supporting auditors. Position: Payroll Supervisor
Reports to: Chief Accountant
Location: Rouyn-Noranda, QC
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the Payroll Supervisor is responsible to review the hourly and salaried Ontario payrolls for Island Gold Division. The Payroll Supervisor will assist in month end process including accruals and payroll journal entries and will ensure we are using the payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. This person will oversee the payroll team of 3-4 personnel.
