Overview

You are responsible for the management of payables and the impact on the theoretical inventory of the stores assigned to you according to the standards and policies established by the head office of UAP Inc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare control reports that establish the value of store inventories.
• Perform various clerical tasks, for example, coding invoices, cost reports, claims registers, discrepancy reports and centralized store document management.
• Validate various TAMS reports, store document filing, and head office documents.
• Validate the purchase journal, general ledger and make the necessary arrangements to allow stakeholders to post an annual inventory take.
• Manage and control the arrival of internal mail and mail from the stores.
• Implement actions and make decisions that generally have limited impact on departmental results.

Qualifications

• DES or college degree in accounting
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Excellent communication in both English and French, both orally and in writing. In your role, you will have to work with internal clients across Canada on an ongoing basis.
