Position Summary

Servers at Tulip Lounge are essential to creating exceptional guest experiences through their sincere commitment to hospitality. We’re expanding our team and seeking a skilled Server who shares our passion for outstanding food and service. The ideal candidate will bring a warm, engaging personality and have prior experience in a high-energy restaurant or bar environment.

Responsibilities
  • Report to work on time and in full uniform.
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by management that are within your capabilities.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the Concord Hospitality Handbooks.
  • Inspect assigned station prior to opening for cleanliness of tables, chairs, and floor.
  • Ensure proper setup of salt and pepper shakers, sugar containers, decorations, and other table items.
  • Maintain necessary equipment including pen, side towel, corkscrew, etc.
  • Complete all assigned side work before, during, and after shifts.
  • Attend menu classes and taste panels to stay informed about daily specials, soups, drinks, and all menu items including garnishes and preparation methods.
  • Be prepared to answer guest questions knowledgeably and confidently.
  • Manage assigned floor station efficiently and participate actively in the scatter system to support all stations through teamwork and consolidation.
  • Take guest orders following proper procedures; write legibly on checks and pre-ring orders using correct modifiers, seat numbers, and table identifiers.
  • Serve food items correctly and promptly, following procedures for food from the expediter.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety at all times.
  • Provide proper service of beverages, liquor, and wine.
  • Ensure tables in all stations are properly bussed throughout the meal.
  • Follow correct procedures for clearing and resetting tables, including handling of china, glassware, and silverware.
  • Foster a collaborative and unified work environment that promotes teamwork.
  • Follow all safety and security policies; report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions immediately.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of beverage pairing to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.
