A regional authority in British Columbia is seeking two Parks and Trails Labourers for student/seasonal full-time positions. The candidates will assist in maintaining regional parks and trail systems, requiring good communication skills and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions. Successful applicants should be enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant post-secondary program and hold a valid driver's license. Positions run from May 4, 2026, to August 28, 2026, offering a competitive hourly wage of $26.96 including benefits.

We have two upcoming openings for the student/seasonal position of Parks and Trails Labourer. The successful candidates are enrolled in or recently graduated from a post‑secondary program related to agriculture, natural resource/environmental studies, sciences or landscaping, and hold a valid Class 5 BC driver’s licence. First Aid certification is considered an asset.
Successful candidates will be friendly and outgoing, with good communication and great customer service skills, will be physically fit and able to work in adverse weather conditions and terrain and will have the skills to operate small power tools and equipment.
Reporting to the Parks and Trails Technician, the Parks and Trails Labourer assists in the maintenance and repairs of the regional parks and trail systems to ensure a high standard and safe use of the facilities and amenities by the public. Responding to the public with tact and courtesy, candidates will also have a general understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and work exceptionally well as part of a team and on their own.

These full‑time positions (40 hours/week) are from approximately May 4, 2026 to August 28, 2025 with a wage of $23.24 per hour plus 16% in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and all other benefits for an aggregate total of $26.96 per hour.
