JOB DESCRIPTION:

Brookside is a local retirement community offering full-service independent and assisted living. We are looking to hire for part-time position in a dual role as an Overnight Housekeeper/Personal Support Worker. Essentially working within the nursing department supporting our residents with meaningful engagement/support each day. Your role is both supporting homemaking as well as personal support, we offer full training.

Duties could include:

• Housekeeping of residents suites
• Collecting, cleaning, folding and returning laundry
• Inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Attend to emergency calls
• Provide personal care/support services to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Create meaningful moments with residents throughout the day.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills in English required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform heavy lifting tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.89 per hour
