A leading tire services company is seeking a tire fitter to perform tire service and maintenance on mining equipment. Candidates should have at least two years of experience, preferably with certifications in OTR service. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety protocols, operating heavy-duty tire servicing equipment, and contributing to maintenance programs. Kal Tire is Canada’s largest independent tire dealer and one of North America’s largest commercial tire dealers. Kal Tire’s Mining Tire Group is a leader in mining tire service and supply, servicing more than 150 mine sites across five continents.
Cote Gold Project is located in the Chester and Yeo Townships, District of Sudbury, in northeastern Ontario. It is approximately 20 km southwest of Gogama, 130 km southwest of Timmins, and 200 km northwest of Sudbury, roughly 5 km west of Highway 144.
The project area is characterized by gentle hills, forests, lakes, and rivers. It is located on two sub-watersheds, the Mollie River system and the Mesomikenda River system. Additionally, the continental watershed divide is located south of the project property, with the nearest boundary located southwest and more than 3.5 km from the proposed open‑pit location.
The shift schedule for this position would be 14 x 14 off.
