Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cast room experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and of orthopedic supplies preferred.
• Required: Basic Life Support upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgery procedures with physicians.
• Apply and remove orthopedic appliances including casts.
• Educate patients on proper care and appliance application.
• Evaluate patients presenting problems with casts or splints.

Skills

Experience with relevant PC applications

Ability to use office equipment and phone systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
