Order Picker (Freezer) :

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Order Picker for our distribution centre in Brockville, Ontario! Giant Tiger can offer paid training and certification on brand new Raymond equipment, cross training and mentorship in various warehouse departments, full medical and dental benefits, a store discount, and 24 / 7 onsite gym access.

Starting wage of $19.43 / hour

Additional $2 / hour for hours worked 9 : 00pm - 6 : 00am

Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that

Highlights :

Pick ecommerce orders focusing on accuracy;

Packing and shipping ecommerce orders as per procedures to ensure safe delivery to customers;

Receive and put away inventory while maintaining accurate records;

Lift boxes with a weight range of 1 - 50 pounds;

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area;

Comply with GT’s policies and procedures as well as OSHA and MSDS Standards;

Assist in coordinating and loading new Store opening deliveries, if requested;

Prepare store to store transfers maintaining accuracy as needed;

Other related duties as required by the Leadership team.

Job Requirements :

Completion of High School;

Experience in a fulfillment environment;

Experience as a warehouse associate or a similar position;

Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time;

Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;

Strong attention to detail;

Experience in working with AS400 is an asset;

Experience in a digital / ecommerce warehouse operation is an asset;

Warehouse Management System experience is an asset;

Material handling equipment driving experience is an asset;

Successful candidates must be in good standing for both performance and health & safety.
