Position Overview
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Specialist to support the performance of our Bitcoin ATM network. You’ll play a key role in resolving technical issues, dispatching field technicians, and acting as boots on the ground when needed to investigate, test, and resolve ATM issues firsthand, while analyzing performance data and improving operational processes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, self-driven, problem-solving environment and is comfortable juggling technical troubleshooting, field coordination and on-site issue resolution, with a high attention to detail.
You’ll work closely with the operations team to ensure everything runs smoothly. This is a high-impact role: your ability to identify issues quickly — both remotely and in the field — will help turn first-time users into lifelong Bitcoiners.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor ATM Health: Proactively monitor ATM uptime and respond to alerts or performance issues.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot ATM issues remotely or work directly with hosts and field techs to resolve problems efficiently. Take end-to-end responsibility for issue resolution.
- Technician Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate technician visits and coordinate shipments of parts.
- On-the-Ground Support: Resolve local ATM issues.
- Data & Trend Analysis: Identify patterns in ATM and customer issues; propose improvements and preventative measures.
- Performance Monitoring: Review monthly ATM performance, flag underperformers, and conduct visibility and functionality checks. Recommend ATM relocations and seek out new hosting opportunities.
- Host relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring clear, timely communication between hosts and Bitcoin Well.
Skills & Experience
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable troubleshooting issues and understanding of hardware/software interactions. Identify systemic issues and implement preventative solutions.
- General Labour/Construction Experience: This background will help in assisting technicians in the field for ATM repairs and installations and recommend ways to improve our processes.
- Bitcoin Knowledge: A solid understanding of Bitcoin fundamentals, wallets, private keys, and security best practices.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex Bitcoin concepts for customers at all levels of experience.
- Startup experience: Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environmentswhere adaptability and the ability to manage shifting priorities are essential.

- Experience working with Bitcoin ATMs.
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Dispatch experience: Strong coordination skills between multiple vendors, able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Help desk platforms:Experience with Intercom, Zendesk, or similar platforms; proven ability to manage high volumes of inquiries while maintaining quality and efficiency.
