Job summary

As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project. The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems.

Objectives
  • Ensure delivery and quality of the documentation in compliance with signaling strategies.
  • Ensure team KPIs and reporting is done in a timely manner
  • Track and advise all managers to ensure project milestones are achieved
Responsibilities

In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards:

  • Ensure all documentation is prepared and issued prior to commencement of all site works.
  • Ensure that all vehicle and workshop requirements are planned and delivered in coordination with RMF scheduler
  • Ensure planned vehicle and position requests meet programme and operational requirements.
  • Review work content with planning, project management team and client to ensure coordination.
  • Manage the DML in conjunction with managers and planning department for weekly alignment and KPI reporting
  • Generate and maintain Team KPIs for reporting
  • Support all managers with allocated tasks
  • Manage the subcontractor time sheets and invoice process
  • Ensure all requirements are tracked and in compliance with APSYS roadmap
  • Use data from our different digital tools (DML, ODY-C, P6, MyField…) to generate and maintain weekly and monthly management reporting

  • QCDP (quality, cost, delivery and performance)
  • Savings through Risk mitigation and Opportunities management
  • Quality, EHS, Productivity: monitoring, anticipation and reporting on progress and issues
Education & Experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • 3+ years of experience in projects
  • Cost and planning control experience
  • Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives
  • Knowledge of contract conditions
  • Understanding of planning process and project reporting
  • Knowledge of risk assessment process
