A renewable energy company in Toronto is looking for an Electrical Engineer SCADA to support offshore wind projects. The role involves providing technical support for SCADA, networks, and telecom design, with a focus on offshore wind. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a BSc in Electrical Engineering. This position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
The Electrical Engineer SCADA will support the front-end delivery, development, and construction of offshore wind projects, focusing on performing and reviewing the overall SCADA, networks and telecom designs for offshore wind projects.
Supervision of Others: No Direct Report
Ability to travel every month to an Atlantic Shores or parent office for 3-5 days at a time.
85% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software / programs), phones, and general office equipment. 15% of time is spent outside of the office visiting subcontractors and project stakeholders. At least monthly travel to project site(s) is required.
