We are seeking a confident and independent Office Manager to support the daily operations of our flooring business. This role is critical to keeping projects, finances, and staff running smoothly while helping move the company in a positive and profitable direction. The ideal candidate is comfortable making decisions, managing financials, and supporting a small team in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions for the flooring business
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including supplier invoices, customer billing, collections, and job‑related payments
  • Track and manage job costing, budgets, margins, and overall profitability
  • Monitor pricing, discounts, and material costs to ensure accurate billing and healthy profit margins
  • Prepare financial and operational reports for ownership/management
  • Coordinate with sales, estimators, installers, and suppliers to support project timelines
  • Supervise and support a small team of office staff, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight
  • Improve office systems, workflows, and procedures to increase efficiency
  • Handle customer and vendor communication as needed
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or Administrative Manager (construction or flooring industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of AP/AR, job costing, budgeting, and profit tracking
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Experience managing and supporting employees
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a deadline‑driven, project‑based environment
